Every project follows a clear, considered process so you always know what happens next.
First Meeting
At the first meeting we will discuss your ideas and requirements, look at options of how we can help, once complete we then send fee proposals outlining suggested services and budgets.
First Concept
Once all fee proposals have been agreed we send out a questionnaire which helps us to gain a full picture of what the client needs from the space, while the client completes this we will take any measurements (if needed) and start looking at layouts and design.
After the client has sent back the questionnaire we will then complete a “First concept board” that will have a collection of ideas to give an over all look at the proposed design. If the concept is agreed we then move on to the next stage.
Main Design Concept
When the design direction is agreed we then get to work on completing a full design concept including floor plans explaining the proposed project layouts and any structural changes that may be required, concept boards for each room along with all samples of proposed finishes plus imagery of suggested furniture and joinery concepts. 3D images can also be produced at this stage to help visualise the proposed design. Once complete this will be presented to the client.
Scope of works
Once the concepts have been signed off all designs are then used to complete a detailed pack with all the information needed to implement the designs and gain quotes from all relevant trade. This will contain all working drawings, schedules, furniture packs and detailed breakdowns of all details. We are used to working with third parties including architects, project managers, quantity surveyors, furniture makers and construction companies so this stage may also include working with all required trades ready for works to start.
Implementation
The client now has the choice to handle the project from here on their own or allow us to see the project through to completion. Depending on the project this may include us contacting all relevant trades to gain quotes, then working with the chosen team under a project co-ordination role to check in and make sure designs are on track, complete any ordering needed. If the project is larger with additional trades and architects we would work along side them for the duration of the program.
Styling
When all building work is complete we also offer a styling option where we can complete the final finishing touches to the property including furniture, window treatments, art procurement and accessories.
